Albanian Diet

An Albanian diet is influenced by Greek, Turkish, and Italian cuisines. Meat is often boiled together with vegetables such as potatoes, onions, okra, peas, beans, leeks, spinach, or cabbage. Typical dairy products are, homemade yogurt, cottage cheese, feta cheese, and kaçkavall cheese. Fruits grown there are, apples, pears, watermellons, plums, oranges, figs, and grapes.
