Berat
The city of Berat is located at the river of Osum in the middle of Albania. Kalaja is the original castle thats was built on top of this hill. The castle contains numerous churches and Mosques. In 1961 Berat was elected "city of museums" and therefore is a good place to see when you visit Albania.
Albanian Riviera
The Albanian Riviera is located in the southwest of the country at a steep coastline. Beaches provide swimming and sunbathing. The country side is mostly behind the beaches and are perfect for small trips.
Apollonia
Durres
In the middel of Albania you can find the ruins of an ancient town named after the god, Apollon. Apollonia is one of the citys most biggest and most valued cities. It's a very historical place and the veiws from the hills to the country are impressive and worth seeing.
On the coastline of Albania there is a city call Durres. Cultural events and festivals take place here. Durres is one of the touristic centers of the country and besides culture and history it provides beaches and holiday fun.
Tirana
Tirana is the capitol of Albania. Many important facilities are located here. For example, the parliament and goverement. When the city was first named in 1920, it was not very important. But now, the moderen architecture and cultural familys have made the city more important.
